PIIE-SLU SC is a non-profit, non-political student chapter of the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers. It is recognized by the mother organization, PIIE, for as long as it has been created in 2003.

        The organization is governed by a constitution having the last amendment on 2005. The primary objective of the organization is to establish greater mutual; understanding and unity among its members to initiate activities that will promote the four values-Creativity, Competence, Christian Spirit and Social Involvement- the school upholds; and other significant objectives identified in the PIEE-SLU SC constitution and By-laws.
