The Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSChe) is a five year degree program that equips students with an understanding of both engineering and chemical principles, and develops proficiency in the design, development, operation and management of industrial processes in which materials are transformed by chemical reaction and/or physical means.The BSChe program develops students’ skills in the analysis of chemical processes, the design of effective laboratory experiments to test hypotheses and verify assumptions, as well as to analyze and interpret data and simulate processes. Other components of this program are the processes of evaluation, planning and preparation of specifications and cost estimates, operation and management of industrial plants.
